In the late Spring of 2013, founder, Jennifer Zehenni, received word that some local schools were limiting funding for summer programs. Jenn found this news worrisome and decided to experiment with a support solution by creating a collaborative pop-up learning center that offered academic + creative options for the whole family under the mentorship of both educators and industry professionals. This overall integrated, tailored, and flexible approach to learning was proving to resonate with the community and the rest organically grew from there. So while Jenn began her private education practice well over a decade ago, the pop-up project concluded during the fall, and after some fine-tuning TPL officially launched in 2014.
