Our Story

Founder, Jennifer Zehenni, began her private education practice more than two decades ago. With classroom experience spanning preschool through 12th grade and additional educational therapy training, she became a trusted resource for families navigating questions both big and small: How do we prepare for kindergarten? What will make the transition to middle school easier? What in the world does this IEP mean? Is this the right high school for my child? Could homeschooling work for our family? What might life after high school look like—with or without college?

In 2013, Jenn began collaborating more closely with educators, specialists, and other professionals of all kinds to support families holistically. TPL became increasingly skilled at seeing the whole picture then zooming in close—creating a clear roadmap forward matching each learner with the people, places, and support best suited to them.

Over the years we have grown our collaborative team providing tutoring, educational consulting, custom learning roadmaps, and ongoing education management. California is home but our work has taken us across the country, often linking arms with schools, educators, therapists, and specialists in other states to build the perfect fit support around each learner.

We understand educational decisions can feel deeply personal and unexpectedly overwhelming. We are honored to be part of our families villages. Our goal is to listen closely, bring clarity to the process, and make the next step feel manageable (and perhaps even a little fun). Because there is no single right way to learn or one path every family should follow.
